Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Melbourne Clean, we want every customer to be completely satisfied with our service. This policy outlines our approach to cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds so you know exactly what to expect.

Cancellations

We understand that plans can change. Here is how our cancellation policy works:

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled appointment: No charge. Full refund if payment has been made.
  • Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the appointment: A cancellation fee of 25% of the total booking value may apply.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment: A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking value may apply.
  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows: The full booking amount may be charged.

Rescheduling

We are happy to reschedule your appointment at no cost, provided you give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee, as we may not be able to fill the time slot.

To reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible via phone or email so we can find an alternative time that works for you.

Refunds

Refunds are provided in the following circumstances:

  • You cancel your booking within the eligible cancellation window (48 hours or more in advance)
  • Melbourne Clean is unable to fulfil a confirmed booking due to reasons on our end
  • A service was paid for but not delivered

Refunds will be processed within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method.

Service Dissatisfaction

If you are not happy with the standard of the cleaning service provided, please contact us within 24 hours of the appointment. We will arrange a complimentary return visit to address the issues at no extra cost.

Please note that refunds for completed services are only considered in exceptional circumstances where our team is unable to rectify the issue through a return visit.

Exceptions

In cases of genuine emergency or extenuating circumstances, we may waive cancellation fees at our discretion. Please do not hesitate to reach out — we are always happy to find a fair solution.
